You see, I See
You see unruly hair, matted down gray fly aways
You see spills running down her face, stains on her shirt
You see shit in her fingernails from a messy bathroom visit
You see a woman who cant remember her own granddaughter
I see beautiful deep brown eyes that have seen the world change
I see hands that worked hard not for her benefit but for others
I see a mind full of stories waiting and wanting to be told
I see a woman who walked though hell but was always proud
